Have you ever heard of a hook? The very first sentence of a text is a called a "hook". We have been learning about the five basic hooks, most writers use to grab their readers' attention. We will be using this knowledge to intentionally add hooks to our own writing. Hopefully we'll grab your attention with our snazzy hooks!
